THE julie ROBINSON EXPERIENCE

Your Wedding Photography Journey

Planning your wedding photography should be simple, enjoyable, and stress-free. Here’s how we’ll work together to capture your story beautifully.

01

Explore Packages & Pricing

Start by browsing my Investment Page to find a package that fits your day and your budget. Wedding photography is a big investment, and it’s important to choose what feels right for you.

02

Let’s Connect

We’ll have a quick, friendly call or Zoom chat to make sure we’re a great fit- because your photographer should feel like a calm, trusted friend on your wedding day.

03

Plan the Details

About two weeks before your wedding, I’ll send you a simple questionnaire. This helps me understand your photo priorities, gather family group lists, and note any special details or heirlooms you want included.
Feel free to let your loved ones know ahead of time about any family photos to help everything run smoothly.

HOW IT WORKS

On The Big Day- Relax & Enjoy!

I capture your day naturally and unobtrusively, focusing on real moments and emotions. When it’s time for portraits or group shots, I’ll guide you with ease and keep things moving quickly so you can get back to your guests.

If you’re nervous about being in front of the camera, consider scheduling an engagement shoot beforehand- it’s a fun way to get comfortable and create some lovely images in a relaxed setting.

Rain or Shine, I’ve Got You Covered

The Lake District weather can be unpredictable! But don’t worry- I’m prepared for all conditions, and often rainy days create some of the most stunning and atmospheric photos.

Your Memories Delivered

After your wedding, you’ll receive your full gallery of beautifully edited images to treasure forever and share with friends and family.

The best inspiration comes from life, not from Pinterest.

I am  are excited to work to make your images as original as you are.. So let's leave that mood board for engagement shoot outfit inspo, ok?

We love it when you bring us your ideas, then trust in the reason you hired us.

And if you give us freedom to create, we'll give you much more than the shot list.

Do whatever you can to truly be present.

Some traditions kind of suck — our favorite celebrations are with couples who are willing to do it their own way.

Trust us – a great DJ is worth their weight in gold.

If you want to have a legendary night, you want people on the dance floor and you want them to not be hungry. Forget the tiny candles.

Have the wedding you want, not the wedding they want.

Your friends just want to party with you.  Don't get so caught up with keeping up that you forget to have fun.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Great photography is only part of the experience - clear communication and support matter too. These FAQs give you a feel for what it’s like to work with me.

Q. Do you bring a second photographer?

Whether or not you’d like a second photographer is entirely up to you. For larger weddings or if you and your partner are getting ready in different locations, having two photographers can be a big advantage. It ensures we don’t miss a single moment of your day.

Q. How will we get our photos?

You’ll receive a link to a private, password-protected online gallery within 8–10 weeks of your wedding. From there, you can view, download, and share your photos with family and friends. I also love to send over a few sneak peeks within 24 hours, so you have something to enjoy straight away.

Q. Are you willing to travel?

Absolutely! I cover weddings across the Northwest and into the Scottish borders. Travel fees apply for journeys over 60 miles (charged both ways). If your wedding is more than two hours away, overnight accommodation may also be needed- but we’ll chat through the details.

Q. We feel awkward in front of the camera- is that a problem?

Not at all! Most of my couples say this before their wedding. I keep things calm, relaxed, and natural, giving just enough direction so you feel comfortable without feeling staged.

Q. What if it rains on our wedding day?

The Lake District weather loves to surprise us- but rain won’t spoil your photos. In fact, it often adds atmosphere and romance! I’ll work with whatever the day brings and always have a backup plan.

Q. How do we book you?

Your date is secured once I’ve received your booking deposit and signed contract. From there, we’ll start planning together to make sure your day is captured exactly how you want it.
